Building at Kensmyth Alpaca, Clay Meadow in the Cotswolds
Building is rather a grand term for the organised noise on the farm which has to be done once the weather dried out and before the birthing season is upon us.. but something is definitely going on around here!
State of the Roads in Cirencester Kensmyth Alpaca in the Cotswolds
I do not wish to complain but I do think an 8 inch drop is a just a bit dangerous for cyclists, horses and cars with low undercarriage.. outside our drive..
A Big stick and a big dog at Kensmyth Alpaca, Clay Meadow GL7 in the Cotswolds
Folk often think she is a “Labradoodle” but absolutely not, this dog weighs circa 40kg, guards like a Rottweiler and is extremely strong – a Curly Coated Retriever no less and not to be messed with.

The understand the gate is 14ft wide..
Oak and Furrows Wildlife Rescue Centre Cirencester at Kensmyth Alpaca, GL7
Wildlife Rescue at Kensmyth Alpaca – whatever for? Well because I am a “by the book” kind of girl. We had plans for some works on the grounds here due and we also had piles of leaves.. so in anticipation of potential Hedgehogs, Oak and Furrows kindly visited just in case..
piles that had been there since November could have been very tempting for Hedghogs but luckily not so and Oak and Furrows went on their way with a donation.. Remember – ALWAYS check leaf piles please folks!
Happy Birthday Grandma at Kensmyth Alpaca, Clay Meadow GL7
Well I recently had a birthday and received loads of lovely gifts but my card range this year was just beautiful – too many for the mantlepiece but here are just a few..
Eat better at Kensmyth Alpaca, GL7 – a Ploughman’s lunch what IS that?
Who remembers lunch “on the fly” and the good old fashioned “Ploughman’s” – no eggs or pickled onions on this one but makes a nice quick and easy lunch with Oatcakes and good old Branston!
“Bring on the Branston..” – I am really showing my age here..
April weather improved at Kensmyth Alpaca, Clay Meadow GL7
Well Mr Blue Sky (ELO for those of us that still remember the name of the band as well as the name of the song) finally reappeared after the storms Eunice amongst them had left devastation in their wake..
so what better than to enjoy your own Riparian rights with your faithful friend?
