Value for money eating out in the Cotswolds from Kensmyth, Clay Meadow
Eating out is not a massively regular occurrence for us but with Tesco Vouchers changing from 3x down to 2x well one just had to opt for Pizza Express who serve a great value range of foods..
but for those with big appetites or keen on fish as we are, often not having time to relax and eat, then the All you Can Eat in Swindon is great..
Rest in peace, God Bless, ‘Pilot Pete’ Gregory ex Rendcomb from all at Kensmyth
A very sad day today as it is the funeral of Peter Gregory known as Pilot Pete. A keen Hot Air Balloonist who died so tragically but doing what he loved.
A classmate of our youngest Mitchell when at Rendcomb College and tragically passing so young but managed so much in his young life and so successful a career too.
Mitchell, Louis, Daniel and James all went to pay their respects to their friend.
Our thoughts go out today to his family especially and always to those he has left behind.
Rest in peace and fly high
Quick Car Boot for bargains brr its cold at Kensmyth in the Cotswolds
A quick pop out to a car boot recently and boy was it cold, no bargains and few people but interesting reminder of when toy crazy boys came with us when they were younger..
July change in the weather and turn the heating on at Kensmyth, Clay Meadow
well for those of us wishing we could light a fire in the rather dramatic weather change..
For the nostalgic amongst us that like roaring log fires and remember the salt and vinegar version..
perhaps you could eat these instead? Only available from Aldi and make your breath smell but oh boy they are fab!
July 2023 more boys than girls in Cria drop for Kensmyth Alpaca, Clay Meadow
what better way to welcome July than with 3 girls born in quick succession to outnumber the boys so far?
So pleased..
Yearling colour coat changes Alpaca at Kensmyth in the Cotswolds
It always amazes me how much the alpaca change colour from birth to adulthood..an alpaca colour is decided by the fleece closest to the skin.. the fleece outside being affected by the sun like human hair is..
sizzling salads and crazy flowers at Kensmyth Alpaca, Clay Meadow
Well the Council continues to keep the verges long for the flowers and birthing and mating is starting all over the UK in the alpaca world, including us here in the Cotswolds..
Crazy weather in June continues at Kensmyth Alpaca, Clay Meadow
Well June continues with the heat but it must rain soon, the grass needs it and sudden wet only flattens the fields if it comes in torrents when it comes and will make hay making interesting.. meantime enjoy the sunshine
Birthing Alpaca time for Kensmyth Alpaca in the Cotswolds
Birthing time is upon us again at Kensmyth. First out of the starting gates and a stunning fawn male..
June arrives at Kensmyth Alpaca, Clay Meadow as does the sunshine
Welcome June and may you bring good weather please. Shady places for a large dog but do not be fooled – she is only waiting for the baby pigeons to fall out of the nest above so she can eat them – sorry folks this is farming!
