Farmers dont need much sleep…. midnight at Kensmyth
those who are genuine farmers will know we don’t need much sleep, I guess its the inner alarm for the bond between man and animal that develops over the years?
I know I only have to hear a sheep shift uncomfortably in the barn and im awake and the CCTV is on with me ready to dash out in jamas and wellies despite the cold to assist in the lambing… my friends called upon to assist with twins with one retained will stand test to that one LOL
anyway those of you who know me well understand that I am a devout Christian and I always try to relate “songs” to the passing of any Christian soul.
For our dear Liz, I have decided that this is most appropriate to me personally and im sure my family will agree as she was part of our lives since 1970 … I will write an epitaph personally but for now…
How Deep Is Your Love
I know your eyes in the morning sun
I feel you touch me in the pouring rain
And the moment that you wander far from me
I want to feel you in my arms again
And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love, then you softly leave
And it’s me you need to show
How deep is your love, how deep is your love
How deep is your love?
I really mean to learn
‘Cause we’re living in a world of fools
Breaking us down when they all should let us be
We belong to you and me
I believe in you
You know the door to my very soul
You’re the light in my deepest, darkest hour
You’re my savior when I fall
And you may not think I care for you
When you know down inside that I really do
And it’s me you need to show
How deep is your love, how deep is your love
How deep is your love?
I really mean to learn
‘Cause we’re living in a world of fools
Breaking us down when they all should let us be
We belong to you and me
And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love, then you softly leave
And it’s me you need to show
How deep is your love, how deep is your love
How deep is your love?
I really mean to learn
‘Cause we’re living in a world of fools
Breaking us down when they all should let us be
We belong to you and me
How deep is your love, how deep is your love
I really mean to learn
‘Cause we’re living in a world of fools
Breaking us down when they all should let us be
We belong to you and me
How deep is your love, how deep is your love
I really mean to learn
‘Cause we’re living in a world of fools
Breaking us down when they all should let us be
We belong to you and me
